Dr. Davis is a plant-based doctor based in Houston, Texas. As a weight loss surgeon he decided to figure out what really led people to his operating table.   • 1. Most of the Plant based Medical programs are supported by a cooking show. Even Dr Greger has his own cooking show which I thoroughly enjoy.

  • 2. A common phenomenon is for the family member of a Plant based doctor to create a webpage with recipes and menu planners. This makes a lot of sense. The doctors are usually busy seeing patients and their partners and family members are the ones who grow up using the plant-based diet. You will see many of these names appear and it is not hard to see they are family.

They have their own youtube channel and present one dish each episode. It is like
being in a kitchen with a favourite aunt!

The Whole Food Plant Based Cooking Show disappeared for awhile when the hostmoved back to the states from New Zealand. Here the host tells you her story.

Her show has been going for four years and is very popular with people who want simple and fast ways to adopt a plant based life. She also has some practical tips on how to organize your pantry and what items to buy and how to store them  

Jill McKeever is a Youtuber and tells her story here

Her cooking show follows Dr McDougal and is very popular with his followers. More suited to the healthy American style of eating.  

Rip is the son of Doctor Esselstyne. His story is very interesting. He is a top-class
athlete turned firefighter turned Plant based public speaker and motivator.

I particularly like his webpage because it is easy to use and no fuss. It is also not so
‘medically’ so it is more appealing to those who may not have a health issue but who
want to start eating healthy. Rip also has a book which is on the reading list and
available for download. It has a lot of amazing recipes too.
